About The Job
As a Presales Solution Architect you will be supporting our enterprise sales team engaging with prospective customers evaluating Spectro Cloud’s solutions for modern Kubernetes and infrastructure.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading technical discovery, articulating technical value propositions, performing solution demos, scoping evaluations, executing proof-of-value (PoV) engagements, and crafting solution proposals that align to customer goals and environments.
This role will be deeply involved in supporting some of our most strategic PoVs providing hands-on technical guidance, architectural best practices, and issue resolution for high-impact customer trials. You’ll serve as a thought leader within the organization, providing mentorship to other team members and leading by example in field execution.
About The Team
You will serve as a senior technical resource and expert advisor to both team members and customers during complex engagements. Your input will influence not only sales outcomes but also product evolution, partner strategies, and repeatable solution patterns across the organization. Solution Engineers play a key role in educating prospective customers while providing constructive feedback regarding how the Spectro Cloud solutions are being received, use case enhancements, and overall market feedback.
Location: This position is remote in the US.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide deep subject matter expertise for the infrastructure required to host and support Spectro Cloud’s platform in our largest Enterprise and Public Sector customers
- Guide and support the other Solution Architects at Spectro Cloud in when conducting PoVs across all the platform use cases
- Deploy and configure Palette in the cloud and on-premise to support pre-sales opportunities
- Assist the Post-Sales team with the configuration and implementation of Spectro Cloud’s virtualization solution and virtual machine migrations
- Organize and lead training workshops for employees, customers and partners
- Provide thought leadership at conference speaking events highlighting the Spectro Cloud platform
- Blog creation to support the marketing and brand awareness of Spectro Cloud
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Technical Pre-Sales / Sales Engineering experience
- Experience with SaaS and self hosted complex deployment architectures
- Strong experience with Canonical MaaS, bare-metal deployments, physical hardware, Linux operating systems and virtualization hypervisors
- In depth knowledge of VMware and /Kubevirt virtualization platforms as well as vm migrations
- Enterprise cloud-native storage such as: Dell, Hitachi, NetApp, Pure, Rook-Ceph and associated CSIs, FC zoning and LUN mapping
- Strong Kubernetes knowledge, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) preferred, experience with bare metal and cloud managed Kubernetes
- Knowledge of K8s ecosystem: KubeVirt, Cilium, Nginx, Multus, MetalLB, Forklift, Konveyor
- Good command of CI/CD tooling: Terraform, Git, Helm, YAML
- Single Sign On and role based access controls
- Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and written skills (English)
- Domestic and occasionally international travel required
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- BS Computer Science, Information Technology or similar experience
