Senior Solution Architect, UK
Who We Are
Spectro Cloud helps platform teams and cloud providers modernize and manage infrastructure for the AI era without adding more tools or operational complexity.
With PaletteAI, enterprises, public sector organizations, neoclouds and sovereign clouds can build, govern and operate full-stack environments across VMs, Kubernetes, edge, regulated and air-gapped locations, and AI infrastructure. PaletteAI Launchpads help teams start quickly with urgent outcomes such as VMware migration, token cost control or edge modernization, then scale into enterprise-wide lifecycle management, governance and fleet operations on the same platform.
About The Job
We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our expanding EMEA team, based in the United Kingdom. In this role, you will be at the centre of some of the most technically complex and strategically important conversations happening in enterprise infrastructure today; helping customers and partners across the region design, deploy, and get real value from Palette, Palette Vertex, and PaletteAI, our platforms for managing Kubernetes and AI infrastructure at any scale, anywhere.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the full customer journey — from initial discovery through to production deployment — shaping how organisations modernise and manage infrastructure for the AI era without adding more tools or operational complexity. Your work will directly influence sales outcomes, accelerate product adoption, and drive long-term customer success across industries including telecommunications, healthcare, finance, and the public sector.
This is a high-impact, customer-facing role. You will need deep technical expertise across Kubernetes, cloud-native infrastructure, and AI workloads, paired with the communication skills to translate that expertise into clear business outcomes, and the credibility to do it in front of both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
About The Team
You will serve as a trusted advisor and leader to partners and customers during complex engagements. Your input will influence not only sales outcomes but also product direction, partner strategies, and repeatable solution patterns across the organisation. You will develop deep relationships with technical and executive stakeholders, becoming the go-to authority on Kubernetes strategy, edge computing, and AI-driven workload deployment within customer organisations.
Field Engineering plays a key role in educating customers and partners, while also providing feedback to improve our products and go-to-market execution.
Location: Based in United Kingdom with ability to travel when needed.
Job Responsibilities
● Partner with the Sales team to support enterprise opportunities across the EMEA region, with focus on telecommunications, healthcare, finance, and the public sector.
● Lead technical discovery sessions, demos, and proof-of-value engagements with customers and partners. Employ structured discovery frameworks (BANT, MEDDPICC) to uncover business drivers, stakeholder alignment, budget authority, and decision timelines; translate findings into compelling business cases and technical proposals that quantify ROI and articulate the path from disconnected pilots to production-ready AI at scale.
● Translate customer requirements into solution architectures leveraging Palette, Palette Vertex, and PaletteAI, aligned with Kubernetes best practices and enterprise AI governance.
● Deliver workshops, presentations, and enablement sessions to both technical and executive stakeholders. Frame technical solutions around business outcomes—cost, risk, speed, compliance, and hardware ROI—to resonate with C-level buyers.
● Provide feedback from the field to influence product direction and go-to-market strategy.
● Support partner enablement and joint customer engagements in the region.
● Represent Spectro Cloud at industry events and conferences across EMEA.
● Develop subject-matter expertise in EMEA regulatory and compliance requirements (GDPR, data residency, NIS2, sector-specific mandates) and articulate Spectro Cloud's value in meeting those obligations.
Minimum Qualifications
● 6+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
● Strong expertise in Kubernetes (CKA certification preferred) and cloud-native technologies.
● Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Terraform, Git, Helm, YAML), authentication/authorisation (SSO, RBAC), and container security. Hands-on experience troubleshooting and deploying in heterogeneous (multi-cloud and hybrid) environments.
● Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP); exposure to hybrid and edge deployments a plus.
● Proven track record of supporting complex enterprise sales engagements using structured discovery and value-based sales methodologies (BANT, MEDDPICC, or equivalent).
● Strong presentation and communication skills for both technical and business audiences. Demonstrated ability to articulate ROI, total cost of ownership, and business case narratives to CFOs and executive stakeholders.
● Ability to travel within the UK and across EMEA region as required.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience working with or for EMEA-based enterprise customers or partners, particularly in telecom, healthcare, finance, defence, or public sector.
● Familiarity with enterprise procurement and compliance requirements in Europe (GDPR, NIS2, SOC2, ISO 27001, sector-specific security/governance frameworks).
● Exposure to partner/channel sales motions and competitive positioning (VMware Tanzu, Red Hat OpenShift, AWS EKS).
● Hands-on experience with AI/ML workloads, GPU infrastructure, or inferencing frameworks; exposure to edge AI deployments a plus.
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
Why Join Us
● Shape the future of AI-driven Kubernetes adoption across EMEA enterprises and partner ecosystems. Help enterprises turn hardware investments into production outcomes at scale.
● Join a fast-growing, innovative company backed by top-tier investors and driven by a team of cloud infrastructure veterans.
● Collaborate with a global, passionate team of technical and business experts across sales, product, and customer success.
● Work across the Middle East with flexibility and autonomy in a high-impact role where your technical strategy directly influences deal outcomes and informs repeatable solution patterns across the region.
