About the Role
As a Recruiter at SpectroCloud, you'll play a key role in scaling our team by owning multiple full-cycle requisitions across both technical and operational functions. You'll partner closely with hiring managers across multi-time zones to define needs, shape recruiting strategies, and deliver a seamless candidate experience — all while helping us attract the best minds in the industry.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and execute multiple end-to-end hiring processes from sourcing and screening to offer across departments; for both technical and non-technical roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and customize recruiting strategies that fit the unique needs of each team.
- Own our Applicant Tracking System (Rippling) to optimize workflows, generate reports, track pipelines, and ensure system accuracy.
- Develop and implement creative sourcing tactics to engage top-tier, often passive, talent.
- Leverage data and metrics to continuously improve recruiting processes and outcomes.
- Support onboarding workflows to ensure a smooth candidate-to-employee transition.
- Stay current on industry hiring trends and the latest tools to keep our recruiting approach modern and competitive.
- Additional HR and office related inquiries as needed.
- Pitch in where needed — we’re a startup, and adaptability is key.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Strong experience hiring for complex technical positions in a hyper growth start-up.
- Deep familiarity with ATS platforms (such as Greenhouse, Lever, Rippling preferred), along with tools like Google Workspace and project management systems.
- Solid understanding of employment law and recruiting compliance best practices.
- A creative and persistent sourcing mindset — you know how to find and win over hard-to-reach talent.
- Passion for delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.
- A collaborative, adaptable attitude — no task is too small if it helps the team succeed.
- Excitement about SpectroCloud’s mission and an interest in the science and technology shaping the future.

- Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 OTE, based on experience

The Hiring Process
At Spectro Cloud, we highly value your time and dedication throughout the hiring process. Therefore, we aim to ensure that our interactions are efficient and focused on delivering value.
Our interview process for HR roles typically comprises of three to four stages:
Initial Screen – A brief conversation to discuss your background, interests, and fit for the role.
Cross-functional Interview – Conversations with stakeholders from HR, IT and our CFO to evaluate your collaboration and process-thinking across departments.
Final Interview – A wrap-up session to address remaining questions and align expectations.
Location: This position is based at the HQ office in San Jose, with an onsite requirement of three days per week.
